Hello, I am Brooke and astronomy is a new subject for me. I have heard facts and read posts about parts of astronomy but I have never studied it scholarly. I currently am studying Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting as well as economics. Growing up financials were a main talking point at dinner and I found a piece that intrigued me. I hope to become a Certified Public Accountant and work for a Fortune 500 company. I grew up in a small farm town and I am looking to start a career in a city. A fun fact about me is that I absolutely hate chocolate.
I am looking forward to gaining basic knowledge of our universe and the ones surrounding us. I hope to learn about many topics and grow my understanding of this subject. Astronomy is new to me and I am looking to change that. One thing I hope to learn most about in class is the universe around us. As we have only began class about two weeks ago, I am already intrigued in learning more about the possibilities of other life forms, new and changing stars and planets, and how big the universe truly is compared to our small planet. I find these topics fascinating because we have only ever been on this planet and we really don’t know what could be out in the rest of the universe.
