Cool Astronomy Events in April

Since we have been stuck at home for almost a month now, I have found some interesting astronomy events that will occur in this month. To begin on April 8th, there was a pink super moon. It was the largest full moon of 2020. Then on April 15th, there was a connection of the moon and Saturn. April 22nd, will be the Lyrid meteor shower which will contain about 20 meteors for hour. Finally on April 29th, the giant astroid 1998 OR 2 will fly very closely by the Earth. While things aren’t what we expected and every day is a new challenge, there are still amazing and interesting things happening in the solar system. While our planet is infected with this virus, the solar system is not and will continue to change, grow, explode, move, and produce new things. Instead of sitting on the couch and scrolling through the internet everyday all day long we could all do more research about what is happening and how it is happening. I am looking forward to the rest of this month to see these amazing things happen and to keep some hope that not everything in the world is stopped due to the Coronavirus. Things will hopefully get better and continue to go almost back to normal.
